ESPN launches new sports video content store, plus sports channels
Bein Sport: Sports video content is a new concept to ESPN and ESPN2.
The company is creating an entirely new video platform for the sports world that is focused on the sports fan, the sports business and sports entertainment.
ESPN2 sports content is focused exclusively on sports.
ESPN is also looking to diversify its content offerings.
The network is expanding its sports coverage to include a wide variety of sports, including football, hockey, baseball, basketball, women’s college basketball, college football, college soccer, and more.
ESPN’s first sports content has been produced exclusively for ESPN2, but the network will soon launch the first sports channel for ESPN in the U.S., ESPN2’s exclusive sports channel, which is scheduled to launch in 2018.
The channel will feature exclusive content from ESPN’s sports programming, including the NBA, MLB, NFL, NFL Network, and other top sports networks, and will be produced and produced by ESPN’s global sports production team.
The ESPN Sports video platform will also include a host of ESPN2 shows and documentaries that are part of ESPN’s flagship network, including SportsCenter, The Big Lead, and the Emmy Award-winning series The Ringer.
ESPN plans to expand the ESPN2 channel’s sports coverage by including exclusive programming from other networks, including NBA TV, NBCSN, ABC, ESPN Radio, ESPN Deportes, ESPN 2 and ESPN Depictions.
ESPN also plans to bring the ESPN Sports channel to the Roku app, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple Watch, Roku Player, and Xbox One.
